MGT601 Dynamic Leadership-Assessment Part A: Self-Reflective Analysis

A brief description of your results. Provide a copy of your report as an Appendix. It will not be included in the word count.

Results, derived from the Gallup survey, seem unusual to me. Some facts are beyond my expectations. Nevertheless, overall, the result is excellent, and I am quite satisfied with it. According to the results, my strengths are command, restorative, self-assurance, achiever, and developer. Regarding command, I am an influencing person in both society and corporations. I always want to inspire people and make decisions. Being a restorative, I like to execute different strategies or solutions to solve issues. I love to identify problems and work on alternatives to come up with the right solution. Self-assurance is also one of my prominent strengths. I can manage my life in a better way and create an impact on others. I am quite certain about a few things, and no one can stop me from making decisions. I am an excellent achiever as well. I want to work hard and be productive in both society and organization to depict my dominance and gain personal satisfaction. I always want to achieve something in life, and I often take tiny steps to become an achiever, which is a glimpse of my strategic intent. The strength “developer,” which is also associated with relationship building, helped me to improve my personality.  I always intend to see potential in others recognizing and cultivating potential is mandatory for me to create space for me to build a relationship (Liu, 2010).

Your initial reactions to your results: any surprises, any concerns, any connections with your own self-perceptions of your leadership strengths and personality preferences, any consistencies or inconsistencies with other feedback that you have received, either from colleagues or other psychometric tests.

My initial reaction after the result was moderate, as I also found some hidden strengths, which were unknown. For Instance, I did not realize that I am a developer. It was surprising for me because I did not notice anything like it before. But my mates and friends were not surprised, as they already knew this strength or ability. When I shared these results with my friends, they told me that I was a good friend and human being in terms of love, care, learning, and relationships. I have more friends in society, which depicts or justifies my strength. Captivatingly, I got some perceptions regarding my leadership style and approach. I thought I contained a participative leadership style (Warren, 2017). Based on this trait, I am quite able to become a great leader. My strengths, such as developer, achiever, and command, can help me to become a great leader in the future. Thus, I can say that my leadership perception is associated with these Gallup results.

Your initial thoughts on the implications of the results for your current and future leadership: how you can draw on your strengths to enhance your current and future effectiveness.

These strengths can be used to develop my leadership capabilities. Currently, after deriving Gallup results, I have known my hidden strengths, and it can improve my leadership in society and organizations. Nevertheless, as far as the future of my leadership is concerned, these strengths seem flexible, as I can adopt new traits or trends to develop further strengths. Gallup will be the relevant source for me to build and highlight skills. Leadership in the future can be different due to any change in my strengths. These were initial thoughts on the implications of the results for my current and future leadership (Kohnen, 2010)
